today was one of those days where you marvel at how absolutely beautiful your life with your children is and grab three different cameras to take photos of them after they've fallen asleep in your bed.
I plan to have more of those days in 2008.

last month I decided to compile some of my favorite Polaroid photos and blog posts into a little book. and here it is. paperback, 7X7 and 26 pages filled with small moments of my everyday life from September 2005 to November 2007. the book will soon be available to preview and purchase on Blurb but in the meantime, I'd be most delighted to send a copy and a set of 6 Polaroid postcards to two readers of my blog. if you're interested, please leave a comment with your name and email address and I'll randomly pick two commenters on Sunday, December 23rd.
I'm taking a couple of weeks off to take care of my sick child and a sinus infection, finish knitting projects, make heart shape pizzas, play dominos and celebrate the holidays with my family.

spending a couple of hours with my friend's daughter Lea, painting our toenails, making origami hearts, staging Cinderella and watching her spin 37 times. people often ask me if I would like to have a girl. I used to think that I didn't. now I'm not so sure.
