rue Saint-Antoine

I know it's been a long time. we're all doing good and yes, a lot has happened. our lives have changed in big and small ways, ways that I had never thought possible. ways that now fill my heart with a renewed sense of appreciation for my family and friends.

but change always comes with uncertainty and fear, where everything you think you know is challenged. every day. in every decision you make. and it's hard. it's exciting, but it's hard.

I'm glad to hear all is well! That picture is really cool - it looks as if it could've been taken anytime between now and the invention of the polaroid!

We lived in Paris for 5 months when my 17 year old daughter was 1 (long time ago). I worked and my husband held down the fort. It was our first time abroad, really our first time away from our home town. We lived on Rue Armond Carrel near the park in the 19th arrondismont (I'm sure that's not spelled correctly). I don't know if we ever made it to Rue St-Antoine, but your picture reminds me of our appartment on the 5th floor. Thanks for posting!
