far away love
I know I should be used to it now. that it should almost feel perfunctory, like a ritual that is getting too old. his black travel bag. his frequent business trips. but I woke up this morning brimming with emotion, and I thought God, please, help me get through this. I miss him. I miss him so much, I reflected, and the unbidden thought made me feel like weeping.

I also hate it when my husband has to travel for work, whether it's for a day in another state or for a week in another country. Not just because it's hard to take care of the baby alone, but because I miss knowing he's going to come through the door at night, and sit and talk with me at the table and be with me.
His next trip however, is going to be in your hometown - and we get to come with! I'm very, very excited. I want to have my baby's portrait drawn by one of those artists by the Seine.
I feel your pain. If you want a twin mommy with whom to vent, I'm here for you....

((hugs)).
Happy Love Thursday, Irene!

i can relate to you, too. my husband goes on location a lot, and when he is home and working the days are always over 14 hours. the exchange is that we get lots of time with him when projects end.
hang in there. enjoy the love.
If you need someone to talk to, I'm all ears.
If only I lived in Paris, how I would pack up a bag and come be your wing woman! :)
