when I picked up my boys after artclass today they were blue. smurf blue.

today I also faced two of my biggest fears: the pediatrician's office waiting room and dog poop. both at once. and no, you don't want to know the details.

I have to face a waiting room tomorrow with both kids. I feel your pain.

And yes...actually, I do want to know the details. I'm sure I'd find them quite, uh...comforting. ;)

I bet the boys looked adorable, I hope you took pics.

Taking all of my kids to the peds is my worst nightmare.

I really don't want to hear the details, I can just imagine.

Woah. You know we want to know. You know we'll clamor to know. So you might as well tell us, or you won't have a minute's peace. :D

I just did the latter today...thousands of miles away and yet, we all share a common bond!

dog poop is one of your biggest fears?? this is like the second comment in a row i'm posting that have something to do with poop. it's telling, isn't it? =)

and sadly, my brother and i (15 months apart) were quite a handful for my mom, who also dealt with the two boys growing up, often without dad. i've done worse than sticking finger up my mom's nose.

Details are the stuff of life. And have them, we must.

i agree! details, details, details - though, i find, the magic of momster is not in the details, but what's not said.

Speaking of Smurfs, my friend has a post about her own daughter looking rather blue. Check it out!

winter sales. brand new white tennis shoes. an important appointment with lung specialist. a dog poop way beyond regular size and obviously blessed with the power of invisibility. the waiting room. I notice. Will's shoe is not white anymore. I hope. I smell. I can't barely breathe. find a solution. find a solution. not only shoes. pants too. my heart pounding. what to do? what to do? sweating. some tissues. only 2! where's the bathroom? I love my kid. I love my kid. Will sitting on the floor not allowed to move or touch anything or anybody. OMG. socks too? 15min. 30min later. doctor opens door. "hi doctor! I have poop on my shoes!".

see, you did not want to know, did you?

One of the things I remember most about that beautiful city was all the dog poop on the sidewalks...and the machine with the hose that would come by and suck it all up.

Sorry you had to "experience" that!

Oh, Irene...I'm sorry you had to deal with that crap. Literally. ~wink~

I thought both of them stepped on it! I hope the doctor handed over his box of tissues :-))

We are going thru this poop thing here endlessly. Ah, la vie en France...

Bon courage! :-))
