the world according to mom

5 things I love about being a mom:

the wide range of skills I have learned and developed over the years: how to make paper airplanes, knit hats, pack light, remove tomato sauce stains, stop a nosebleed or manage an asthma attack.

how my judgment turned into compassion, humility, and a better sense of understanding and respect for others' choices.

shopping for school supplies.

after a really long and exhausting day, my son would put toothpaste on my toothbrush or tape a little note on my bedroom's door offering comfort and love when I most need it.

Mother's Day.

You're such a good mom, Irene. Hugs to you and the boys.

Those gorgeous, sweet boys are a reflection of the care and love you have shown them as their mother. Their sweet "au domain's" still ring in my ear. I just adore them and can't wait to see them (and you) again in the future. I love your family!

I can't believe how big your boys are now. My Bean is as old as Sean & Will were when I first found your blog years ago...

You look so beautiful in this photo.

I just found your blog today because my husband called me "The Momster" this morning, which I thought was hilarious. I wanted to see what clever person coined it first so I searched google and found your blog. I love your writing, your photos and particularly this post. What a great idea "Her Bad Mother" had for the 80 clicks - I may join in tomorrow. Glad I found your blog! Cheers!

Mama Mary: thank you so much! I am not the clever person who coined it first though :)
