I usually hate Mondays

but this morning I've said no rather than yes and it changed everything. today we bought an apartment. almost. and then we did not. at all. sometimes it is better to let go of your dreams for a while. and envision your life as large as you really want to rather than pursuing decent with a loan. and drown with it. sometimes not having what you wish for is the only way to appreciate what you already have. sometimes it is better to wait. to learn. and dream. more.

Oh we are SO on the same page right now. I'm glad to read that it feels like a relief to wait... I can also imagine that the house you end up with will be made beautiful by you and your family no matter what...

Half of the excitement is looking! When you find that one special place you will not be able to walk away...then you will have a new home. Right now happiness is just being happy with your family.

We backed out on a house just before closing when we first were looking. I kept worrying that I would regret it. I was so sad. Then, we ended up having a small starter home built and I loved it so much more--I never regretted it again.

You will find your perfect home.I just know it, Irene. And, you will be able to feel it when you find it. Hang in there, I am sure it is a long and draining process!

I bet that was a tough call, but it sounds like you followed your intuition and you should be proud of yourself.

You'll find that place to call your own soon.

Im always amazed at how succinctly you capture the situation and the feeling. That same situation would have taken me paragraphs and lots of wasted words. I'm a fan, Momster lady!
