the sadness comes in waves, repeatedly, consistently, inevitably. I see her everywhere, and I miss her all the time. my most faithful companion, my very best friend.
I am so sorry. I dread the day when I will need to deal with this. I imagine the sadness does come in waves. How could it not? Such a precious picture up there. Hugs.
We lost our dog three years ago and sometimes when I'm thinking of something silly or crazy he did, I laugh and am so happy to have had such an incredible dog. But at the same time, saddened by the fact that he's gone.
Rachel: yes, this is what I'm realizing. that I will never forget. I do hope one day I will be able to remember something silly or crazy she did and laugh. xo
I'm in tears thinking about your loss and the loss that I will someday face... You loved her hard and well... You gave her a home and loved her unconditionally... All doggies deserve such love. You were her Mom, I'm hoping you guys adopt again and give another dog the chance of such a happy life. Blessings to you.
