#4 vote

"I felt proud. I was proud that my right to vote for president was legitimate, something some might want to object but will never be able to take away from me. I was proud to be Korean, to be French, to just be. to voice my opinion. for me, for my family. and for those who couldn't voice their own."

more stories here and more about the French election here.

are you glad sarko won? i lived in paris for a year, and worked for ump at the federation de paris, so i've been following the elections closely. such an important one, i wished i was french so i could vote! (i'm 'americaine d'origine coreene) as i had to repeat so many times to french people...

anyway, i got to your page randomly while searching for galbijjim recipes - found it on kimchimama's site and there was an entry by you on her site...i dunno how these sites work. it's so cool you're living in paris (i'm still nostalgic) and that you're 2nd gen french korean. i didnt know korean immig history in france went back that far!

The first time I went to Paris was when I was a teenager and they were having a major election and I remember the people working at the hotel talking about it. You just brought back some very fond memories to this old mind!
