PETIT PARIS
bonjour! here you'll read about my life in Paris with my family, things we like to do, places we like to go and random things that make me happy.
Bièvres

'cause that's how we roll

there are some things we absolutely love to do together: go on road trips, take a late evening walk, fold laundry, and bowling.
the cutest chairs

aren't these the cutest chairs, ever? this photo was taken in a small café called Atti in Tokyo last month.
merci Hoppy et Caroline

back from a most inspiring workshop this weekend in Paris hosted by photographers Hoppy Kindanda and Caroline Shimanek.
note: un grand merci à Hoppy et Caroline, ainsi qu'à tous les participants pour les rires, les moments de partage, les manipulations sur mon Canon 5D et pour vos encouragements. à très vite j'espère!
5 things I love

about Tokyo:
food, obviously.
the hospitality of Japanese people, from store clerks to waiters and strangers on the street, which was humbling.
heated toilet seats (no kidding).
that although verbal communication was difficult or nonexistent (sometimes we didn't even know what we were eating), I've rarely felt more comfortable in a city I was visiting for the first time.
did I mention food?
Shinjuku

some of our favorite places in Tokyo:
Tsubakiya (for coffee and cake)
Sangokuichi (for udon noodles)
Maisen (probably the best donkatsu we've ever had)
Harujuku (for fun shopping and Harajuku crêpes "a fresh-made crêpe rolled into a cone and stuffed mostly with whipped cream and other goodies such as strawberries, chocolate, even whole slices of cheesecake; the more adventurous options including tandori chicken")
