Sean and Will celebrated their 10th birthday last week. and it's going to take a while to sink in.

note: many many thanks to everyone who has shown kindness, taught a lesson, helped and encouraged, and has been a part of our boys' lives in one way or another. we are forever grateful.

today February 2 is La Chandeleur (Candlemas) in France, also known as "Crêpes Day".

I can't believe we'd never been to the Grande Galerie de l'Evolution at the National Natural History Museum before. it is truly one of the most beautiful and fascinating places to visit in Paris, especially with children.

sidenote: I'm so grateful that Sean and Will are more curious and interested in biodiversity, endangered species and environmental issues than I was at their age.
